William (“Bill”) Newman serves as the Strategic Industry Advisor at SAP, providing industry perspective, strategic business advice, and thought leadership to support SAP automotive and discrete industry customers and their co-innovation programs in North America. As mentioned, Bill serves as the SAP Point of Contact for the ASUG Automotive SIG and previously served for many years as an ASUG member and volunteer with companies like Volkswagen, Booz | Allen | Hamilton, KPMG/BearingPoint and Newport Consulting Group prior to joining SAP.  Bill is also an author, professional speaker, writer and consultant with 30 years of experience in strategy and IT planning across multiple industry sectors. 

Prajesh Desai is a Senior Value Advisor for Automotive at SAP. In his current role, Prajesh supports companies to identify value through custom-tailored business cases.  He supports dozens of customers across multiple industries to identify savings opportunities. Prior to joining SAP, Prajesh was the Director of Finance for a $2B Tier 1 automotive supplier and has worked previously at other Tier-1 automotive companies in various finance leadership roles. Prajesh earned his Executive MBA from the DeVos Graduate School of Management and BBA from Northwood University.
